The five reasons BIM submissions get rejected in Dubai

Most rejections are not design problems. They are checks nobody ran before submission.

What the data shows

Across the models we validated last quarter, five rules account for the large majority of first-round rejections:

  1. Stair widths below the required minimum
  2. Ramp slopes steeper than the accessibility code allows
  3. Missing or mismatched plot setbacks
  4. Parking ratios below the zoning requirement
  5. Naming and classification that does not match the authority template

Why they slip through

None of these needs an architect to fix. They need a check that runs every time the model changes, against the current rule set, with a clear line pointing at the element. That is what the validator does before anything is uploaded.
